About Astrid
I study Biological Sciences at the University of Leeds but have a particular passion for English Literature and thrived with the subject throughout secondary school. I found talking to teachers who were the most passionate about our texts were what really helped improve my skills and I'd like to be able to carry that forward. Biology is a complex subject and having it broken down and taught through can be particularly helpful - I can help understand topics, as well as learning what's the best way to tackle revision and can answer questions about UCAS applications to Biology-related courses. Additionally to my school studies, I received a Silver award in the Biology Olympiad and both a Bronze and Silver award in the Chemistry Olympiads in 2024/5.

I studied OCR Biology at A-level and Edexcel at GCSE and have completed my first year studying many of the topics that appear in both of these. They can be changed to complement what exactly you need - whether it's understanding topics, helping with revision or advice over UCAS applications.
