About Millie
I am studying Genetics at university which has always been my favourite part of biology. I am in my first year at university and so am first covering human biology in a more broad sense before going on to focus on genetics in my next years. I have tutored for 3 years and have found it rewarding and also have experience volunteering with students with severe cognitive disabilities. Outside of work and university I enjoy coding and many books and movies including Grey's anatomy, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Marvel. I also volunteer for Anthony Nolan charity and enjoy debating.

A typical lesson would be an hour. I have been tutoring for three years and have found the best way to learn is through active learning involving activities, open questions, diagrams and exam questions. I find this encourages the student to engage more and feel like their part of their learning. I can tutor GCSE and A-level students and also KS3 students.
