About Zara
My name is Zara and I'm a second year University student, hoping to work in Germany in the future. Having taken A-Level German I now tutor clients to both bring them on and retain my own level of language whilst I am studying for my degree. I am invested in ensuring that students reach a high level of knowledge as I believe that knowing another language is very helpful and opens a lot of doors, and with English being a Germanic language I enjoy helping students realise that it is much easier to get a hold of than they may initially realise.

In the one hour a week I spend with students I begin with a small conversation in German about the week, followed by a short quiz based on the previous week. We then target the student's weak areas using past questions and resources from the relevant exam boards. I currently have two existing clients who are happy with my work and have seen an improvement in their grades under my guidance. My ideal working range is anywhere between year 7-11, preferring to take on GCSE students in year 10.
