About Emily
My name is Emily I am a History and politics student at the University of Warwick. Next year I will be going into teaching with Teach First, a charity designed to help educational inequality. I firmly believe that a good education really can change people's lives. I want to give pupils the confidence that I have previously lacked to succeed. I am a fan of swimming, going to the movies and love to keep up to date on the latest politics.

My approach to teaching will be getting to know the student's ability level and learning style. I will go through the content with the pupil ensuring they understand each step. If they are confused by something I will make sure to rephrase the problem. My style is a friendly and understanding approach that also seeks to ensure the pupil is making progress. I would look to ensure I refresh them on previous content and praise them for understanding new concepts and progressing.
