About Sadie

I first started teaching English in 2018. I worked with middle schoolers and taught lessons online to adults. Then in 2020 I moved to Japan and started working for a reputable company in Japan called Gaba Corporation. I stayed with Gaba for 3.5 years until June 2023. While working in Japan, I developed special teaching skills that go above and beyond the average online English lesson. The standard for each client was to have a comprehensive lesson plan tailored to the individual’s personal preferences, language goals and strengths/weaknesses. I taught realistic and useful life scenarios through practice, high client talk time, and continued support. And through doing this for 3.5 years, I have experience teaching a wide range of personalities and different levels of linguistic ability. I enjoyed teaching greatly and could see incredible progress with many students. I'm confident that I can help you reach your English goals!

About the lesson

I want to get to know you and your personal English needs! I will develop a customized lesson plan tailored to your goals and preferences: -I can make lessons related to what you want to study (business English, daily English, writing, speaking, listening, reading, TOEIC etc.) -I'll split up the lesson into parts based on your preferences (examples: long warmup to calm nerves / straight to main lesson content / extra practice / more detailed feedback) -I will also give you corrections based on your preferred correction style (strict / relaxed / written / delayed). -We can have lessons with your preferred atmosphere (relaxed / fun / friendly / focused / strict). A typical daily English or business English lesson plan looks like this: -Short warmup with small talk -New vocabulary and phrases -Practice -Role play situations using new language until you feel confident. -Feedback and home study advice
