I am currently studying towards a Batchelor's Degree in History at the University of York, however I also have a keen interest in English Language, Linguistics and French. These have been life-long interests of mine based on my desire to travel and explore the world - my attempts to be a successful polyglot however have been thwarted by my own insistence to learn as many languages as possible!
I prefer to teach based on the individual needs of the student, meaning that our personal sessions can feel more interactive and hopefully more beneficial to the student.
I am willing to inform myself about the specific nature of each student's respective examination board in relation to their level of study - minute details hidden in the background of examination boards can be the difference in a grade, and are very important to understand and approach positively.
Through my past experience of being a Young Leader for a local Girl Guide group, I have been able to assist in the social and cultural development of young girls - helping them understand in detail life lessons that will be as crucial as academic knowledge has been a role I which I have been proud to work in.
