About Giacomo
I was born and raised in Italy. I went to school there from pre-K all the way through college. My major is in foreign languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and European cultures. We focused particularly on linguistics in all three foreign languages and in Italian. While in school, I carried out research on the different approaches to teaching and learning a foreign language. In my student years, I also helped several younger students studying English. A few years ago, I moved to the US with my wife (also Italian) and we only speak Italian in the household with our two young children.
