About Guy

I am a dedicated tutor with a degree in Physics, a PGCE, and full teaching qualifications. I am experienced in teaching GCSE Science upto A-level Physics.

My passion lies in unlocking each student's potential by adapting to their unique learning style. I believe in the transformative power of education, especially in the sciences, where understanding the laws of nature can lead to a deeper appreciation of the world around us. My goal is to not only impart knowledge but to instill a love for learning and critical thinking that will serve students for a lifetime.

About the lesson

As a full-time science teacher with extensive classroom experience and a deep commitment to helping students succeed, I understand how unique every learner is. My sessions are designed to cater to your child’s individual needs and adapt to the way they think, building not only their knowledge but also their confidence in science. I am fully vetted with an enhanced DBS check, providing you with peace of mind that your child is in safe, experienced, and trustworthy hands.

What I Offer:

Personalised Learning Journey
My lessons are tailored to your child’s strengths and areas for growth, ensuring that we’re always working in a way that resonates best with them. Together, we’ll build a love for science and tackle any challenges head-on.

Frequent Checkpoints for Steady Progress
Regular mini assessments help me evaluate how well our strategies are working, allowing us to make adjustments as needed. These checkpoints also keep your child on track, showing measurable progress and building their confidence along the way.

Targeted Focus on Areas of Weakness
I concentrate on turning any weak spots into strengths, making sure your child feels prepared and empowered in areas they might currently find challenging. With dedicated practice, they’ll be able to approach these areas with confidence.

Exam-Centric Preparation
My lessons incorporate a strong focus on exam skills, helping your child feel confident and ready for any question or scenario. From mastering question formats to learning effective time management, your child will be equipped for every aspect of their science exams.

Your Peace of Mind Matters
I understand the concerns parents may have when looking for extra academic support. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where your child can thrive academically and personally. As a dedicated professional, I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for seeing students succeed.

Together, let’s unlock your child’s full potential in science.

- Guided Learning: You decide the focus areas. We'll tackle the topics that are most crucial for your success.

With a commitment to understanding and flexibility, my lessons are more than just a transfer of knowledge—they're a partnership in your educational growth. Let's work together to build a foundation of understanding and confidence in Physics and Science.
