About Arlo
I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens using creative and playful methods. My lessons are full of games, movement, and storytelling to make learning pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics fun and engaging. I love working with folk songs, Disney tunes, and musicals that children enjoy and connect with. My teaching focuses on age-appropriate techniques to keep young voices healthy and strong. I also help build confidence and listening skills in every lesson. My goal is to create a safe and encouraging space where kids feel free to explore their voices. I believe music should be joyful, and I work hard to make every session exciting and positive. Watching young singers grow in skill and happiness is the best part of what I do. Together, we make singing a fun adventure filled with learning and laughter. I can’t wait to help your child discover the magic of music!

My singing methodology focuses on enhancing musicality, pitch control, and emotional expression for both advanced teens and group singers. For advanced teens, I emphasize vocal flexibility and building confidence to perform solo with authenticity. We explore various genres to adapt songs to their unique style and voice.
For group singers, I focus on blending, harmony, and precise pitch control to create a unified sound. They practice adapting their parts to fit different musical styles and arrangements, improving their teamwork and listening skills.
Both personas benefit from using digital audio workstations (DAWs) to record and review their performances. Vocal training apps help with pitch accuracy and ear training, while metronomes keep rhythm tight and steady. These tools allow students to track progress and stay motivated.
I encourage regular practice combined with creative expression. Every lesson is designed to build skills while keeping singing enjoyable. Together, we develop not just technique but also the confidence to connect emotionally with any audience.
