Valentina is an exceptional tutor. I have been tutored by her for the past three years and she is phenomenal. First I learnt French and now I am learning Italian and she is brilliant at teaching both. It is clear that she has lots of experience teaching people from ground zero, she understands what is going through a beginners' mind and therefore, can give thorough explanations to clarify whatever you are confused about. She's also just a lovely human being so you don't feel judged or pressured during class - she takes everything at your pace and is happy to work on whatever interests you! Valentina also has great cultural insight so she can give you nuanced tips about tone, phrasing etc. that really help acquire a sophisticated understanding of the language. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Going to Italian class is the highlight of my week :)

Easy way to learn Italian.

I started lessons with Valentina in 2020 because I was searching for support in my senior years of Italian in high school. Before we started tutoring I was averaging 15/25 in assessments, and in 2021 I graduated top of my class with no grade lower than 25/25.
With Valentina’s help, I went from learning limited vocab/verb structures solely for the purpose of succeeding in assessments, to now feeling comfortable talking about a wide range of (unprepared) topics in a variety of tenses. As such, I highly recommend her as a tutor.
