I'm Valerie, a graduate first study singer from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I was also a choral volunteer in the Trinity Chapel Choir in Cambridge University.

About Valerie
I believe that everyone can sing, given the right training and technique. Singing, in my opinion, is one of the most universal activities, and I feel everyone should have the chance to feel confident with their ability and their voice.

I believe in the importance of technique and looking after your voice. The voice is one of the most temperamental instruments, so I like to teach how to maintain a high level of performance, even on days where it feels groggy. I also believe in the importance of loving what you do, as it makes practice easier, so I let students choose what they want to sing. I also have a large selection of songs for all voice types if the student is indecisive.
