About Giovanni
Originally from Italy and raised bilingual, with a Belgian mother, I bring a rich European linguistic and cultural background to my teaching. I moved to Australia 19 years ago and have since built a strong career in education. I am also a publisher and have been teaching for 18 years in private secondary schools. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy painting, drawing, and creating my own music, which reflects my passion for creativity and expression.

I am a current Year 12 French teacher and VCAA examiner, offering expert VCE French tutoring focused on maximizing exam results and SAC performance. My lessons are structured and purposeful, each targeting a specific strategy to strengthen writing or speaking skills. There is also focus on listening / viewing / reading strategies for comprehension.
Students will gain insider knowledge on how to meet assessment criteria and achieve higher scores. I provide guided practice on past exams, model responses, and examples of high scoring responses. In addition, students receive detailed feedback on written work outside lesson hours, ensuring continuous improvement and confidence leading into exams.
