About Andia
Hi! I’m Andia. I recently completed VCE with an ATAR of 98.9 and I’m starting my studies at Monash University in the biomedicine pathway, with the long-term goal of pursuing medicine. I’ve always enjoyed subjects like biology and mathematics because they combine understanding with problem-solving and clear thinking. Outside of academics, I like keeping active and I’m big on having a good balance between studying and life in general. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping students make sense of challenging concepts and watching their confidence grow. My approach is focused on clarity, structure, and building strong foundations, so students don’t just memorize content, but actually understand it and can apply it independently.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on helping students truly understand the content rather than memorise it. I start by identifying any gaps in understanding, then explain concepts step by step using clear examples and targeted practice questions. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and goals. I tutor secondary school students, with a focus on VCE Maths and Biology. I use students’ school materials alongside my own prepared questions, and I regularly check understanding to make sure students are building confidence and independence over time.
