About Greg
Greg regards musical versatility highly. Originally trained as a jazz drummer, Greg developed his early chops craft in military big bands and marching bands, whilst also pursuing his interests in blues and rock. Greg’s musical interests today are diverse. He enjoys playing and teaching in a wide range of styles, including blues, soul, funk, Latin, jazz, rock, metal, country and a little bit of punk when the occasion calls for it.
Greg is actively involved with several bands and musical events. He thoroughly enjoys laying down and contributing to the groove and sound that bands play. He does this mainly with the drum kit, but also uses other percussion instruments, such as cajón, conga, bongo.

Greg teaches all music styles and genres. He can accommodate your drumming aspirations, whether you want to play drums in a rock band or a jazz orchestra. Greg offers students options to study and be examined for the Australian Music Education Board (AMEB) curriculum, the AMEB Rock School program, and guidance on services such as Drumeo. Drum lessons with Greg will help you develop technique, groove, timing and find your own unique style.
