About Lucas
My name is Lucas, and I consider myself an innovative, adaptable, and patient guy. I currently reside in Kingston Ontario, where I study psychology at Queen's University. However, I grew up in Ottawa, where I started my musical journey playing the piano at only 6 years old; since then, music has been my passion! I have been playing the guitar for over 10 years and took lessons for 7. I am now a versatile guitarist with various guitar-playing experiences, from being the lead guitarist in a rock band to playing the acoustic guitar in a church choir. On top of that, I have experience teaching basic guitar techniques to a classroom of high schoolers.
Additionally, I attended fully French elementary and high schools, and I am comfortable providing lessons in both English and French!

My online lessons are all about learning and developing the skills it takes to be a great guitar player! If you’re a beginner looking to embark on a guitar journey, these personalized lessons are for you! I am here to help you reach YOUR goals as a guitarist — whether you're interested in learning to play your favourite songs, writing your own music, or just learning to shred the guitar!
The typical lesson format is designed for beginners. It will be a weekly 45-minute online session, with lots of take-home exercises between lessons. However, this format is very flexible; for example, more intermediate students may prefer bi-weekly lessons with more time to improve their abilities on their own. Whatever your preference may be, you can go ahead and book your first 1-hour session entirely free, and we’ll take it from there! It’s all smooth sailing from here!
