About Shira
I am an experienced singer as a performer and teacher of over 10 years.
I have performed in bands, musicals, opera's and solo productions.
I am able to teach various styles of music from Opera, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Contemporary and child friendly songs such as disney.
I specialise in helping enhance your performing ability as well as vocal strength so you are stage ready. This includes how to use a space, microphone work and harmonising.

About the lesson

I start with warm ups to strengthen vocal chords and ensure healthy singing practices. Depending on experience I will go into breath work on how to use diaphragm properly. Dialect will be focussed on for beginners and those who struggle with projection.
I then pick with the student 2 songs to work on which will be changed up every few weeks depending on how fast they are able to master them.
Song writing can be included as part of lesson plans if desired and so can music theory.
