About Sharron
I'm from Hong Kong but have come over all the way to the UK to pursue a career with animals. This is my 5th year in the country and I received a First Honour for my first degree. I'm also currently student ambassadors in three organisations, and my roles are primarily to work with aspiring teens and offer career guidance. As a tutor, I find it quite rewarding not just to see my students improve, but to actually forge a relationship with them, and if lucky become a source of support or guidance for them.

My lessons typically range from 1-1.5hours. I've taught children from primary to mid-secondary levels. I have 4+ years of tutoring experience, from tutoring centres to home & online tutoring, and am experienced in sourcing and creating teaching material that caters to each student. During lessons, I like to prompt my students and encourage them to be more proactive and confident. I believe that exposure, active engagement and positive reinforcement from young is pivotal in establishing competence especially for languages. I've also taken the IELTs English proficiency test and am well acquainted with the UCAS application system, and so can provide guidance on personal statement writing and application skills.
