About Vincenzo
- What kind of experience do you have?
Over 10 years experience of teaching violin and chamber music in private and public schools in Italy and Melbourne (Australia) where I lived for the last 6 years.
Currently playing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra in London, , I have over 20 years of experience performing in prestigious symphonic orchestras in Europe such as “La Scala Opera†Theatre, Toscanini Philharmonic, RAI National Symphonic Orchestra, under the guidance of conductors as Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Muti, Claudio Abbado, Eliau Inbal, Daniel Baremboim and Zubin Mehta.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I hold the Australian equivalent.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I was given a rounded education in academic music at "Bellini" Conservatorium in Catania (Italy).
During my master at "Fiesole Music School" I studied violin with Felice Cusano and chamber music with Piero Farulli (Viola of the world famous Quartetto Italiano).
In the following years I attended masterclasses with Pavel Vernikov (world famous soloist) and Francesco Manara (Concertmaster at La Scala Theatre in Milan).

I am a professional violinist with 10 years experience in teaching students of all ages and all levels both in private and schools. I teach with a professional and friendly approach, looking to develop the skills and the love for music of my students.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach violin and I can tutor students in chamber music groups such as string quartet and piano trios.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Degree in Music, major in violin from the "V.Bellini" Conservatorium in Italy with distinction.
Master in violin and chamber music from "Fiesole Music School" (Firenze - ITALY) with distinction.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £40 an hour per lesson. I am happy to give you a consultation lesson at a reduced rate.
- Where do you teach?
I can teach at your home or you are welcome to come for a lesson to my home in South Kensington.
- When are you available?
My schedule might change from week to week. However, I am flexible and can normally teach any day of the week.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am happy to teach any age and any level (beginner to advanced).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare my students for ABRSM and Trinity College examinations.
