About Jennifer

I have been playing the violin and saxophone for 30 years and was classically trained, completing my exams up to Grade 8. I hold a degree in music and education and have over 10 years of teaching experience.

After taking a break to raise my son and work on a personal project, I am thrilled to return to teaching. I am passionate about helping students of all levels discover and develop their musical talents, whether they are just starting out or looking to enhance their skills.

Lessons are available both in-person at my home and online, tailored to suit each student's individual learning style and goals.

I wanted to learn a new instrument before I turned 30 and Jenni seemed really knowledgeable and professional. The space to learn in was tidy and felt really safe. Jenni could not have been a better teacher, she answered all of my questions and guides me through gaining the technical skills to learn the saxophone. I have really enjoyed all of our lessons and would give my recommendation to anyone looking to learn.

Jenni was so kind and patient as a teacher. I came into this process with no confidence or prior knowledge of music. She immediately put me at ease, had a such amazing knowledge of music and the saxophone I knew the lessons would be wonderful. I gained proficiency so much faster than I expected, both with the practical elements and the theory and love playing now. I would highly recommend Jenni to anyone.
