About Alina
I completed a PhD in Violin Pedagogy and Classical Performance after years of advanced study in instrumental technique, orchestral collaboration, and music education during my academic journey. Over the past 6 years, I have guided students from different age groups and musical backgrounds, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive mentorship. Teaching violin allows me to combine discipline, creativity, and emotional communication in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners become more expressive and confident musicians through artistic development.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, adaptability, and balanced musical growth. Some students improve best through structured repetition and technical exercises, while others respond more naturally to expressive exploration and creative interpretation. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and artistic goals. Along with technical development, I help students strengthen listening ability, rhythmic awareness, expressive control, and performance readiness. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as an educator.
Outside teaching, I continue practising violin, studying orchestral repertoire, and exploring educational approaches that help keep lessons inspiring and engaging. Music remains an important source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more self-assured and expressive throughout their musical journey. Helping learners enjoy music while developing long-term violin skills continues to motivate me greatly.

My violin lessons are designed to help students strengthen technical skills while developing expressive confidence and musical understanding through calm and structured instruction. I teach posture, bow control, intonation, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, tone production, and phrasing using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include scale studies, ear training, sight-reading practice, musical interpretation, and performance preparation activities that help students improve naturally through regular practice. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring music confidently without fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports both technical development and artistic growth together.
Beginners focus on instrument posture, open string exercises, bow handling, and simple melodies through organised practice routines and patient guidance that build healthy habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve intonation accuracy, smoother bow transitions, rhythmic consistency, and expressive phrasing through guided studies and structured exercises. Advanced students work on advanced repertoire refinement, stage confidence, emotional interpretation, and performance preparation through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, pace, and musical interests so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning violin should feel meaningful, expressive, and rewarding. I encourage students to appreciate gradual improvement while building confidence through supportive feedback and consistent practice. Many learners become more disciplined and emotionally expressive as their musical understanding develops naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical ability and artistic individuality while building a lasting connection with music.
