Since taking Francis' violin lessons, our son is very motivated and practices at home what was learned at the lesson.
Francis teaches with clear advice which makes our son understand how to improve himself and this will help progress the skill every time he has a lesson. This leads to successful play and enjoyment.
We are very happy with Francis' passion and encouragement in the teaching.
He isn't too critical, and is positive and understands how I make a mistake unlike other music teachers I have had expirience with. My school does instrument lessons and he taught me violin. I would HIGHLY reccomend him not just as a violin teacher, but for his teaching ability in general.
I've been a student of Francis for a little over a year now and it's been one of the best learning experiences of my life. Through incredible guidance I've not only learned the technical intricacies of the violin, but also how to expressively interpret the music.
Francis is a fantastic violin teacher. We are lucky that he has been teaching my son for the past 5 years. My son has learned so much with him through his lessons. He works out fantastic ways to develop key knowledge and techniques. He is very calm and encouraging. He communicates really well with my son, and also me - to help understand what practice he should do in between sessions.
Francis is a great teacher. He demonstrates everything very clearly and he is very encouraging. He has helped me to understand the music better and he is also fun!
I love my lessons with Francis. He is a great teacher and we have fun together. He makes me really want to practice during the week so that we can learn new songs together. I love playing the violin and this is mainly due to Francis being such a fun and inspirational teacher.
