About Charlotte
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have had private pupils for many years. I also have been involved in many education outreach programmes into local schools. Aside from teaching I am a keen orchestral player and enjoy performing solo and chamber music recitals.

Yes.

Mark Knight, professor of violin, viola and chamber music at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Jimmy Durrant at the junior department of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Violin and Viola, either in a group or one-on-one setting. I will also teach some basic music theory and aural alongside specific string technique.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have Grade 8 (distinction) on both violin and viola and have gained Grade 5 and 6 theory. I have a BMus(hons) degree in musical performance and a postgraduate in orchestral performance from the Royal Northern College of Music.
- How much do you charge?
I normally charge £25 an hour and £20 for 40-45 minute lesson. I will also take into consideration how far I would have to travel and how many pupils I would be teaching in one session.
- Where do you teach?
I usually teach from home, but am prepared to travel to students homes.
- When are you available?
I am available most evenings and also at weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach any age and any level.
