About Matthew
I'm a dedicated and passionate teacher! I am very experienced in teaching all ages and abilities, individually and in workshops. I have a burgeoning private practice and have taught at the Cecil Sharp House, Cambridge Folk Festival and many more.

My aim is foster creativity in the music the pupil plays which then dictates the technique they cover. Always music first and technique second! I individually tailor the lesson to the student and strive to create a fun and productive way of working.
