About Ying
Given casual lessons to friends and they really liked them as they felt they learnt a lot about how they can improve. I have not had an official student and hence would like to take this opportunity to start by teaching official lessons. I'm learning as well so don't be too harsh on me! :)

I am a university student with a Grade 8 (ABRSM) in Violin. I have been playing the violin for 14 years and play the viola in ensembles/ orchestras for 9 years now. In that period of time, I have been exposed to many learning techniques and would like to be able to teach someone who is interested in learning the violin/ viola. Teaching contents are flexible to cater to student's interest and goals. I am a friendly and patient tutor who will work together with the student to achieve progress. If students are young, I hope to be able to work with the parent to help the child progress with their learning.

Not only is Ying Yee a reliable teacher, but she is an incredible violinist and very dedicated to music. I would strongly urge anybody to take classes with her if they hope to learn a proper technique, and feel constantly inspired by her to pursue music. I have learned from Ying Yee previously, and it drastically helped me improve my violin skills/technique.
