My goal is not only to teach children how to draw, but also to help them discover what truly inspires them. Every child has their own interests and creative strengths, so I adapt each lesson to their personality while building a solid foundation in drawing and painting. By combining fundamental artistic principles with subjects they genuinely enjoy, I aim to help them develop confidence, creativity and a more thoughtful approach to art.
Lessons cover a wide range of artistic media and techniques, including watercolour, acrylic, oil painting, gouache, pastels, coloured pencils and more. Alongside practical work, we will occasionally explore art history, helping students understand how great artists approached composition, colour and storytelling, while also developing their visual awareness and artistic taste.
My teaching is based on six years of training at an art school, where I studied classical drawing and painting, as well as achieving a high grade in IB Visual Arts. Throughout the years, I have also gained experience teaching children and understand how important it is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable experimenting and expressing themselves.
Lessons are designed for children up to 12 years old and beginner artists. A typical lesson lasts around 2.5 hours, allowing enough time to learn new concepts, practise techniques and complete meaningful artwork without feeling rushed.
