About Harper
"Graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium with a BMus in Music Performance provided the foundation for my 13 years of teaching. Precise technique is my primary focus. I teach exam preparation and performance confidence to students ranging from nervous beginners to those at advanced levels.
Vocal health and care matter immensely. Diction and articulation paired with breathing control define my method.
I also emphasize vibrato control and sight singing. My warm up exercises ensure safety. It is a joy to guide you through these fundamental ideas."

"Diagnostic vocal assessment is mandatory for every new student. This initial 10 minute check provides the roadmap for your 8 lessons.
We spend the first part of each session establishing a strong technical base before moving to performance pieces. You might notice we revisit the same anatomical concepts frequently.
This repetition builds lasting habits. I keep the environment calm while we explore the range of your voice. It is helpful to treat the instrument as a physical machine. Working together this way keeps the process logical and clear throughout our time."
