About Jake
I have 8 years of experience teaching singing and hold a PhD in Vocal Arts Education. During my teaching career, I have helped students strengthen vocal technique, improve performance skills, and develop greater confidence in their abilities. Seeing learners grow through music continues to inspire me.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes supportive instruction, clear communication, and steady progress. I believe every student deserves an environment where they feel encouraged to learn and express themselves. Confidence-building remains an important part of my teaching approach.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring vocal repertoire, studying voice science, and attending live musical performances. These interests help me continue growing as an educator and performer. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals while enjoying the journey of singing.

My singing lessons are designed to help students develop a healthy and expressive voice through structured yet enjoyable learning. We focus on breath management, vocal resonance, pitch accuracy, diction improvement, phrasing, and stage communication. Every lesson encourages technical development while supporting artistic confidence.
Students engage in warm-up routines, vocal exercises, song interpretation activities, listening practice, and performance preparation. I provide practical explanations and personalized strategies that help learners understand and improve their voice. Lessons are adapted to individual goals and musical preferences.
I enjoy helping students build confidence and discover greater freedom in their singing. Through regular encouragement and constructive guidance, learners develop stronger vocal habits and improved self-expression. My goal is to create lessons that are welcoming, motivating, and rewarding.
