About Lauren
I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and have spent the last 7 years teaching singers with a variety of interests and goals. My passion for singing developed through years of study, rehearsal, and live performance experiences. Teaching became a natural path because I enjoy helping others unlock their potential and discover what their voices can achieve. Supporting students through their growth remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.
My approach combines technical instruction with artistic exploration. I believe every voice has unique qualities that deserve careful development and encouragement. Lessons are designed to balance structure with creativity, allowing students to improve skills while expressing themselves authentically. I focus on creating a welcoming environment where learners feel supported and motivated. This approach helps students build confidence and independence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy songwriting, vocal research, and exploring different musical traditions. These interests continue to inspire my work and bring fresh ideas into lessons. Watching students overcome challenges and achieve meaningful goals is incredibly rewarding. I strive to help every learner feel capable and confident. My goal is to support lasting vocal growth while keeping the joy of singing at the center of the learning experience.

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop a healthy, expressive, and confident voice. Learners work on breathing techniques, vocal placement, pitch accuracy, resonance, articulation, and song interpretation through structured exercises and practical application. I encourage students to explore their individual sound while building reliable vocal habits that support long-term development. Lessons are designed to be encouraging and productive, creating a space where students can grow without fear of mistakes.
Every learner receives instruction tailored to their goals and experience level. Some students focus on performance preparation, while others want to strengthen technique or gain confidence in singing. Activities may include vocal warm-ups, phrasing exercises, repertoire study, interpretation work, and confidence-building performance practice. Students are guided through challenges with clear explanations and constructive feedback. This helps create consistent improvement while maintaining motivation.
My aim is to help students feel comfortable and authentic when they sing. As skills improve, many learners discover greater confidence not only in music but also in self-expression. Lessons encourage creativity, patience, and commitment to growth. Every milestone is valued because progress develops through steady effort.
