About Charlie
I have a colossal passion for volleyball, and I'm sure you do too! I am fortunate enough to train alongside fellow national league level players weekly, compete in regional and national competitions; play local league games once a week and arrange more sessions with friends on the weekends. I started playing whilst at the University of Nottingham in 2018 (before I knew anything about Haikyu!!), and have joined my current club, Norwich Spikers VC, in 2021. I'm really looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you and chatting about all things volleyball!

The fast-paced and social elements of training can mean it's tricky to properly take in and understand new skills. Join me and speed up your learning progress so that you can go into every training session ready to play - with fresh knowledge. Alternatively, I could help deliver some beginner's understanding if you are yet to get started at a club! After discussing your current volleyball experience and what you would like to learn, our lessons will involve verbal explanations, visual demonstrations with images and physical exercises where possible! There's so much to learn about volleyball, but here's a snippet of what you can learn with me: - deep dive into fundamental technique (digging, passing, setting, spiking and much more) - understanding each position on court - learning the 4:2, 6:2 and 5:1 formations (rotations) - how to improve your vertical jump It can get pretty hectic on court, so take your time with me, ask questions and I will patiently go through any aspect of volleyball with you. Perfect! Charlie explains the methodology really well and fully explained why a method is used. Charlie also made sure we warmed up well to take care of our health and instantly knew areas that could be improved. Engaging and friendly coach with lots of valuable knowledge.

I can't recommend Charlie enough as a coach, he clearly has advanced knowledge of the game! I've noticed my progress speed up after just a few sessions and really enjoy each practice
