Keeping it as simple as possible and as fun as possible, dependent on age and English abilities. I like to start with the basics and go from there. It is important that you know what your goals are so i can help you achieve them. :)
I have spent the last three months completing my 120 hour TEFL qualification and I am also studying for a business degree. I am volunteering for Derbyshire learning center 5 hours a week. I also have 2 god children who are 12 and 16 years old and I spend 2 hours a week with them working on there English language and English literature skills. I also have a 2 friends who came to England who couldn't speak any English and worked with them to gain the communication skills they needed to find work.
I have met Charlie in a shared accommodation, three months after I came to England.
We also had a common passion (music) as well, but there was a barrier, the language. During that time, my English was basic and he had the patience and the devotion to get to my level and raise it in a couple of weeks to an upper intermediate, with a really good day to day fluency.
I have known Charlie for over four years now and I always know him to be an organized and responsible individual.
All the qualities together, the passion and the dedication makes him an asset for this position.
