About Katie
I started ballet when I was three years old. I got my training from my teacher who danced professionally at Ballet West for several years. My tap training is from a tap master who has been teaching for over 70 years. And my jazz training is from a former college dance team performer and UDA teacher. I also took courses in several styles during my time at Arizona State University.

Ballet class starts with a quick warmup, then a full barre, and finally full center combinations. Tap consists of a warm up, learning a new step, and working that new step into a short tap phrase. Jazz starts with an energetic warmup, moves to a few across the floor exercises, and then focuses on choreography.
