About JIYA
Namaste! I am a dedicated yoga practitioner with over 7 years of formal training through Rashtrotthana and experience representing my school at state-level yoga competitions, where I have earned awards and certificates. I am passionate about helping young learners develop healthy habits, confidence, flexibility, and mindfulness through yoga in a supportive and encouraging environment. As a body-positive instructor, I believe that yoga is for everyone and that every student can benefit from the practice regardless of their starting level, flexibility, or experience.
My classes are structured, age-appropriate, and rooted in traditional yoga practices. Each session includes yoga prayers, Surya Namaskara with mantras, yoga asanas, and pranayama techniques, ensuring students learn both the physical and mental aspects of yoga. I focus on proper guidance, patience, and individual attention so that every student feels comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn. Whether your goal is improved fitness, concentration, posture, or overall well-being, I am committed to making yoga an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

My yoga classes are designed for children and young learners and focus on building flexibility, strength, discipline, mindfulness, and confidence in a positive and encouraging environment. Each 30-minute to 1-hour class begins and ends with a traditional yoga prayer and includes 5–13 rounds of Surya Namaskara with mantras, adjusted to the student's level and experience. Students learn the names and techniques of yoga asanas in every session, with emphasis on proper form, balance, and body awareness.
With over 7 years of training through Rashtrotthana and experience representing my school at state-level yoga competitions, I combine traditional yoga practices with engaging instruction. Every class concludes with 5–10 minutes of traditional pranayama and meditation techniques to promote focus, relaxation, and overall well-being.
