By recognising the inherent differences in every student's needs and learning styles, I follow a hybrid teaching method of both action learning and deduction to develop the student's critical thinking ability and the confidence to tackle the problem themselves. Through a very hands on approach, I like to have the student talk me through the difficulties they are facing then together discuss the problems at length until they can demonstrate they have an understanding of how to do it well on their own.
I am a Master's student at the LSE with a 1st Class Honours Undergraduate degree from the University of St. Andrews. With abundant and diverse experience tutoring and working with students for over 8 years, I have tutored younger pupils (6-14) in mathematics, spelling, and writing, and older students (ages 14-22) in fundamental economic theory, business studies, and essay writing. I am extremely outgoing and friendly, and am always keen to answer as many questions as possible: the more the better!
