About Annette
I love to teach in a present and inspiring way, and I am good at listening, praising and motivating.
I have many years of experience and have taught both in the primary school and in the free primary school. My primary teaching subjects are Danish, English and French, as well as Danish as a second language.
Over the course of two years, I have taught French online to a Danish student living in Greenland. Alongside my work as a teacher, I also do translation work for professional translation agencies.
I am a committed, calm and mature teacher, and it is my ambition to always organize the teaching based on the individual student.

I teach French at primary school level (grades 5-10), but all beginners, regardless of age, can participate.
I emphasize creating a good and safe learning space, where there is time and space to ask questions and have things explained in several different ways. I use flash cards, turn-based games, music and other creative ways of working in teaching, and the focus is on vocabulary training. You learn to speak and write in a simple language about close topics such as family, friends, school, food, leisure interests and travel, and you get to know social conditions in French-speaking countries.
My teaching is characterized by variety, and a lesson will therefore consist of several different elements, for example
- play and games
- focused work in books
- training with digital teaching aids
It will be a great pleasure for me to support my students in the learning process and I believe that small steps can lead to many successes.
