About Warren
I am a Spanish tutor with over 9+ years of experience, specializing in teaching college students. I am passionate about helping students understand Spanish in a simple way and giving them the confidence to communicate with others.
My teaching style is personal, friendly, and practical. I first identify the student's level, goals, interests, and areas where they need support. I then design lessons that are appropriate for their needs and adjust them as they make progress.
I use creative learning methods such as real-life conversations, role-playing, storytelling, vocabulary activities, listening practice, interactive questions, and discussions. These activities make lessons more engaging and help students develop language skills through actual use.
I connect new concepts with familiar situations. Students can practice talking about college, travel, hobbies, food, social activities, daily routines, and career plans. This makes it easier to understand and remember new language.
I teach grammar through simple explanations and examples. Difficult concepts are divided into smaller steps, and students practice them through speaking and writing. This helps them develop accuracy without feeling overwhelmed.
Vocabulary is taught through context instead of memorizing words alone. I use conversations, stories, sentences, and realistic examples to show how vocabulary is used. Students then practice using the words in their own communication.
I encourage students to speak Spanish as much as possible. I want them to become comfortable expressing their ideas, even when they are still learning. I provide positive corrections and help them understand their mistakes.

For this reason, I include situations related to travel, food, shopping, college, work, family, hobbies, and everyday conversations. Students practice useful expressions while learning grammar and vocabulary in context.
I keep students motivated by creating a friendly and supportive learning environment. I encourage them to speak, ask questions, and practice without worrying about making mistakes. I use achievable goals and regular encouragement to help students build confidence.
Problem-solving is included in my lessons to make students active participants. I give practical communication tasks where they need to understand a situation and decide how to respond. This encourages them to use Spanish creatively and independently.
I follow integrity by being honest and respectful with every learner. I provide constructive feedback and explain mistakes clearly. I also listen to students and take their questions and concerns seriously.
