About Emily
We use a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong emphasis on active use to help you with exam technique. This will be adapted and different for every student and I will do my best to make it work in the most beneficial way for you. I’m patient and encouraging by using different approaches such as videos, drawings and scenarios. I will help with GCSE AQA Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Edexcel RE and Eduqas music. I aim to improve your confidence and nerves for exams so you can perform at your highest level whilst also helping with any questions about GCSE exams, results day or college applications and questions. I will work around your schedule and add in extra lessons when needed to keep the consistency of learning so that you can improve. I am easy to talk to and will always offer a helping hand for any topic or subject. As I said before I will adapt these sessions to you and we can work out a plan together of how you work best and what you would like to cover in each session so everything is organised and you can plan other revision around this. You’ll also receive guidance on how to practise effectively between lessons, including optional exercises, study strategies, and recommendations tailored to your goals. I help you build habits that support and work specifically for you. I can't wait to work with you and help you reach your goals and improve your skills.

I will go through content gaps tailored to a specific student and then we will work through exam questions to see how they will be assessed and look at what an examiner wants from a candidate. We can tailor these sessions to fit the needs of a student so you can get the most out of every session.
