My Approach as a Math Teacher Teaching Techniques & Methods: I believe that every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and support. My approach is student-centered, focusing on building a strong foundation and gradually increasing complexity based on the learner’s pace. I break down difficult topics into simpler, digestible parts using: Visual aids and real-life examples Practice problems with step-by-step solutions Interactive questioning to encourage critical thinking Encouragement and positive reinforcement to build confidence Structure of a Typical Class: Each session is structured to maximize understanding and engagement: Warm-up & Recap (5-10 mins): Quick review of the previous topic or homework Core Lesson (30-40 mins): Clear explanations, guided examples, and concept discussion Practice Time (20-30 mins): Students solve problems with my support Wrap-up & Q&A (5-10 mins): Clarify doubts, give a summary, and preview the next topic What Makes Me Unique: I adapt my style based on the student’s learning preference – whether visual, verbal, or hands-on I build rapport with students, making them feel comfortable and confident I focus not just on solving problems, but on understanding why the methods work I incorporate technology and online tools to make learning more engaging and interactive Who My Classes Are For: School students 6th and 7th class
