About Sam
Learning can be difficult, but with hard work and persistence, it can be done. Believe me, I have been there. Through my experience, I have developed methods to help me learn. The methods I have learned have allowed me to go beyond what I thought was possible. My approach to teaching is to try and understand how the student learns so I can adapt my teaching methods to suit the learner. I like to ask questions that link with the topic area, that go beyond the answer to ensure understanding for the student. I have had a wonderful placement year teaching level 2 and 3 students at a college in Suffolk along with my role as a learning support tutor for young people both able and disabled.
I absolutely LOVED teaching and learning support. I have experience in Rugby Coaching at varies levels, kayaking coaching and experience in lots of different jobs such as working in the leisure industry and catering industry. My experience extends to working with disabled students at special schools. Helping those students participate in adapted sports and working with disabled students at West Suffolk College.
