About Ailin
Hello! I was born and raised in Washington State, and Spanish was my first language. Growing up, I struggled with reading, writing, and even speaking English, which is part of what led me to teaching. I originally wanted to become a journalist, but along the way, I discovered my passion for teaching. Reading and writing are things I will always enjoy, and I hope to help you enjoy them too!
Outside of school, I love living near the beach, taking my dog on walks, and spending time with my cat, who has tons of energy! I also love writing while sitting at the beach, and I'm constantly learning and studying myself as a full-time college student. I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to helping others grow their English skills while building their confidence along the way!
