About Maria
I have been tutoring since 2020 and have experience tutoring students from years/grades 3 to 11. I have graduated from York University, in Toronto, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Bachelor of Education. I am now certified as a Qualified Teacher in Ontario, and I am working as a Teacher Assistant in Swansea, Wales.

Welcome to French lessons with Teacher Maria, where I tailor each lesson to your needs, whether you've never heard a single French word in your life or you simply want to learn more and improve on your existing French knowledge. In my classes, I focus on grammar and vocabulary as a foundation in order to advance to full conversations with fluency. I am a strong believer that everyone learns differently, therefore I'd like to get to know my students in order to maximise tutoring sessions and to learn as efficiently as possible. I also tailor lessons to my students' interests to keep them engaged! For example, I love to use games and fun activities in my lessons to keep things interesting, if that's what helps them learn as well! My lessons are 1 hour long and are open to students of any age and level!
