About Francesca
Italian from the Alps North, 49, I have lived in Edinburgh since 2009. Married to a Welsh man.
I love tai chi, books, hiking and I am a bass player and a flautist.
We don't have kids, but I work in a Special School and see the kids happy to learn, improve their way of communication and when they make new friends...fill my day :-)
With adults is not very different, motivation and taking small steps each day.

I use the "active method" (Montessori, for example), where you talk the most.
The more you talk, the better new words get fixed in your brain :-)
I am a pupil assistant in a Primary School, and I use this method every day...kids get motivated and happy because they achieve small steps every day.
With adults, the same small, concrete steps, where you go home and tell your family what you have learnt.
