About Hal

Ableton when properly learnt is a hugely empowering programme for budding producers. With multiple years of industry experience in Production as well as Event management, DJing and Sound engineering I can explain to you the tips and tricks I've learnt, as well as providing the oftentimes very expensive hardware and software required for the lessons. An introduction to Ableton would include; explaining the layout, how to use midi and audio tracks, effects, sampling, live sound recording and sound synthesis, and finally mastering your track and optimising your workflow within Ableton using shortcuts and custom presets. Further deep dives for those with intermediate skills would include sound synthesis in serum to create your own unique sounds, and industry standard external effect software used by the pros. Further lessons in DJing, lighting design and business management if events are also possible. Please feel free to get in touch for further details.
