About Xushu
Hi everyone! My name is Gu Xushu and you can call me Shirley. I'm a native Chinese speaker living in Nantong, China. I graduated from university with a degree in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
I love traveling, taking photos and making my own videos. I also love learning and sharing languages. I've been a teacher for about 7 years and got the teaching certification of English teaching in China. I also learn Japanese by myself. I think language learning can be very interesting. By learning different languages, we can know more about different people, different cultures and the world.
For the past of seven years, I had a work experience as being a teacher of teaching primary school students English. I've helped more than 400 students to improve their English. I‘ve got the certification of mandarin, TESOL and English teaching in China. Though I'm a new one in Chinese teaching, I believe my teaching experience and methods can be suitable in Chinese teaching as well.
