About Juliann
Hello! My name is Juliann and I am currently living in Germany working as an Au Pair!
This means that every day I spend time with the children of my host family and speak English with them. I gently correct their pronunciation, grammar, and word usage.
I also spend time helping students improve their writing, especially aimed at AP and college level tests.
In my free time I do ballet, sing, make art, and relax.
Education should be as stress free as possible, this is why my main focal point when teaching is building up the student's confidence to be able to improve their writing and express their ideas.

My lessons are aimed at highschool students (any level) seeking to improve their collegiate writing level and analysis.
Writing and analysis go hand in hand, my typical lesson plan follows the individual needs of each student. One size does not fit all!
An example of how an initial lesson may go would be to discuss what obstacles the student faces in their writing; what they feel needs improvement.
If the student is unable to pin point exactly where their disconnect is, I will take a writing sample from them (from a past assignment or assign a brief one myself) and help them to understand exactly what is missing from their work.
