About Ememe
I am Ememe Celestine Chinaecherem. I am an educator, policy researcher, and community development advocate deeply committed to improving educational outcomes and public welfare in Africa. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Calabar, where my research focused on Public Policy, Socio-Ethical Issues, and Students’ Academic Performance in Ukwa L.G.A of Abia State, Nigeria. Over the years, I have gained extensive teaching experience, serving as a classroom teacher, education support officer, and mentor to young learners. These roles strengthened my understanding of the challenges facing public education — from limited resources to inequitable access — and inspired my pursuit of policy-driven solutions. I have also worked in administration, data collection, and client support, where I developed organizational, analytical, and communication skills essential for managing projects and engaging stakeholders effectively. Beyond the classroom, I am the CEO of Celestine Poultry Farm in Calabar, an agribusiness dedicated to sustainable farming and child nutrition. Through this initiative, I launched a school-nutrition project distributing apples to children to combat vitamin A deficiency, combining entrepreneurship with social impact. Driven by a passion for evidence-based policymaking, I aim to contribute to education reform, public health, and community empowerment through leadership, research, and collaboration. My goal is to design and implement inclusive policies that uplift communities and create lasting change.
