I’m a guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies. I also regularly perform and compose music, which helps me stay inspired and connected to my craft. For me, music is more than just playing notes—it’s a creative skill that grows and evolves throughout life. I work with both beginners and advanced players, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I focus on building a strong foundation while encouraging personal expression. My teaching style balances technical skills with creativity, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I believe every student has a unique voice, and my role is to help you find and develop yours. We explore different genres, techniques, and songs that inspire you. Alongside this, I focus on music theory to build a strong foundation that supports confident playing.
Performance coaching is a key part of my lessons. I help students develop stage presence, timing, and expression, so they feel comfortable and natural when playing live. I use modern tools like DAWs, amp simulators, and metronome apps to make practice engaging and efficient. These tools help track progress and develop precision.
Whether a student leans towards complex jazz or rebellious rock styles, I tailor exercises and songs to fit their interests. Personalized instruction means every lesson is relevant and motivating. I encourage creativity through improvisation and composition. My goal is to help students not just play guitar, but express themselves fully and confidently.
