About Wendy
I’m a vocal coach with over 5 years of experience and a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance. My passion is helping singers discover the power of their unique voices while giving them the technical foundation to shine on stage. I specialise in musical theatre and Broadway, with lessons that explore character acting through song, stage presence, belt technique, and vocal agility for demanding roles. My background allows me to guide school students, college performers, and professionals alike. I believe every singer deserves an approach tailored to their goals, whether it’s building range, strengthening stamina, or refining interpretation. Lessons with me always blend creativity with discipline, offering ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory in engaging ways. I focus on safe vocal techniques so students can grow without strain. Confidence is at the heart of my teaching—I love helping singers trust their voices and perform fearlessly. My teaching approach focuses on helping singers build both technical skill and musical confidence. I believe that every singer can improve their voice when guided with care and structure. My lessons combine vocal exercises with ear training so students can sing with accuracy. I place strong emphasis on harmonising, identifying intervals, and developing a reliable sense of pitch. These skills are essential for singing in groups, performing duets, or joining choirs. My methodology trains your ear to recognise and reproduce notes with ease. With this foundation, students learn to sing in tune without second-guessing themselves. I am especially skilled at working with advanced teens who are ready to take their voices further. Quartet players also find my guidance valuable because of the focus on blending, balance, and precision. Feedback is consistent in every lesson so students can make steady progress. I encourage exploration while maintaining safe vocal technique. Singing should feel joyful as well as disciplined. I support students in building both artistry and technical strength. Together, we will unlock the tools needed for confident, accurate singing.
