About Eliza
I'm currently a reporter for The Daily Herald in Everett, Washington. I graduated from the University of Oregon with concurrent Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and journalism, with a minor in science communication. A recent college grad, I remember how difficult it can be to sort through multiple assignments at once and get the reps to make strides with your writing skills. I work with all types of people during my full-time job, and I really enjoy connecting with people and taking the time to build trusting, supportive relationships. There's no such thing as a dumb question!

As a journalist, I'm constantly learning about new topics and having to write quickly, accurately, and effectively. I have bachelor's degrees in biology and journalism, so I'm also happy to help out with research papers and discussing how to explain complex topics in writing. I can help with structure, sentence flow, grammar questions, descriptive writing, and can act as a sounding board for any other writing questions!
