About Spike
I am a working actor, mainly in screen and I have had some amazing opportunities acting in productions such as "1917", "Sex Education" , "Danny Boy" and most recently "Empire of Light".
I am also currently filming for a new Amazon Prime TV show called “Haven” set to release in 2025
So I have lots of industry knowledge for any students who might be looking to go into screen acting.
I was also accepted into The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2018 but turned down the offer to pursue screen acting. Prior to getting accepted I had spent four years trying to get into Drama school, so I am all too familiar with the audition process and what it takes to get in.

First lesson would be spent getting to know you personally as an individual but also as an actor. After seeing your chosen monologues I will be able to assist you with the pieces you have, or I will provide you with speeches that are more suited to your style. From there we can get into developing your performance skills, exploring voice, movement and text analysis. I will be using techniques and exercises developed by practitioners I have studied within my training, such as Lecoq, Meisner and Stanislavski. We will also be discussing the process of auditions and how best to approach them, from basic audition etiquette to incidents that might occur within the audition. I can also help with self tape work and how to produce a great self tape!
Classes can be done in person 1 to 1 or on Zoom or Skype, for anyone who is interested.
