About Alicia
Through my experience of being a student, I've taken a lot of time to observe the methods used by my teachers. I've seen what works best for me to retain information, and what does not. I hope to apply this knowledge to my own students, allowing them to benefit as much as they can. In addition, my classes have exposed me to hundreds of practice questions and sample essays, which are crucial for students preparing for an AP or a Regents exam. I believe that this will give students a strong foundation to begin the school year. My understanding will provide students with the confidence and knowledge to excel.

As a tutor, I hope to assist students through communication and consistency. I want to provide a space where students feel free to express their struggles in the classroom or with the material. A typical lesson plan would begin by reviewing the topic at hand, practice multiple choice or free response questions, and addressing any personal challenges. With AP students, I would prioritize practice questions rather than the specific parts of the curriculum. History is a subject that I am very passionate about, which is reflected through my high grades and participation in my school. I hope to help each student as best as I can through my service!
